IELTS Listening Practice Test 39

A complete 40-question IELTS Listening paper: a phone call to book a bicycle in for a full service at a bike workshop, a warden's talk at a tidal island's visitor centre about crossing the causeway safely, with the map to label, two students and their tutor reporting on a placement designing enrichment for animals at a zoo, and a lecture on termite mounds and how air moves through them. Played in sequence under exam conditions and marked the moment you hand in.

How should it play?

Exam conditionsPlays once, start to finish, on the real test's timeline: time to read before each part, half a minute to check after it, two minutes at the end. No pause, no rewind.PracticePause, rewind and play a part again as much as you like, read the script as it is spoken, and check your answers as you go. The clock counts up rather than down, and nothing is handed in for you.

The recording sets the pace from the moment you press the button. Nothing plays until you have had time to read.
