IELTS Listening Practice Test 38

A complete 40-question IELTS Listening paper: a phone call to hire a minibus with a driver for a walking club's day out, the manager's talk as a rebuilt ice rink reopens, with its floor plan to label, two students and their tutor comparing three road verges managed for wildflowers, and a lecture on woad, indigo and the history of blue dye. Played in sequence under exam conditions and marked the moment you hand in.

How should it play?

Exam conditionsPlays once, start to finish, on the real test's timeline: time to read before each part, half a minute to check after it, two minutes at the end. No pause, no rewind.PracticePause, rewind and play a part again as much as you like, read the script as it is spoken, and check your answers as you go. The clock counts up rather than down, and nothing is handed in for you.

The recording sets the pace from the moment you press the button. Nothing plays until you have had time to read.
